About Sadie
“Movement has always been part of who I am. Growing up as a dancer, I spent countless hours at the studio- my second home. I fell in love with the way movement could express strength, emotion, and creativity. That passion led me to a career in Physical Therapy, to become a movement specialist. Even while studying, I continued teaching dance - learning about the body by day and being immersed in movement by night. Dance invigorated me.
After graduation, dance faded from my everyday life. I stayed active, but my body felt different - like something was missing. The fluidity, the artistry, the freedom I once knew were gone. Life got busy, and finding time for dance felt impossible. (Though if you walked into my kitchen, you’d still catch me dancing with a spatula in my hand)
Some health issues arose a few years later, resulting in movement taking a backseat.
Flash forward to today - I recently, semi-reluctantly, walked into my first dance class in years! My body and soul had been aching for it, and I finally listened. At first, it felt unfamiliar, even scary, to move in ways I hadn’t in so long. But, with each rond de jambe and arabesque, my body seemed to thank me. The stress of the day melted away. I felt more connected to myself than I had in years. My breath felt deeper, my core engaged naturally, and the nagging hip pain I’d been battling? Gone.
That’s when it clicked - our bodies crave movement, variety, and freedom. We are meant to move, explore, and challenge ourselves in ways that feel joyful. For me, that is dance. For you, it might be hiking, yoga, swimming, or even chasing your kids at the park.
At Invigorate, our mission is to help you rediscover movement in a way that feels invigorating and pain-free. Whether you’re navigating pelvic floor concerns, lingering back pain, or simply feeling disconnected from your body, I’m here to help you move with confidence again.
So, what’s calling you back to movement?
Let’s find out - together.”
